📋 Description

• Position Title: Senior Financial Modelling & Investment Analyst • Contract: Full-time, independent contractor • Our Firm: Sterlington is an international law firm that combines legal and commercial excellence with modern ways of practicing. Our high-caliber partners work on complex business matters with a tailored approach to client service and a focus on financial flexibility and innovation. • The Role: We are seeking a Senior Financial Modelling & Investment Analyst to supplement our team. Working closely with the Managing Partner and Corporate Partners, you will play a crucial role in building financial frameworks and assessing deal value and risk to ensure that our Partner team and clients make data-led decisions. • Responsibilities: Develop and maintain comprehensive, in-depth financial models, including business valuations, discounted cash flow analysis, and reverse interest rate calculations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. • MBA, CFA, CPA, FMVA accreditation desirable. • 5+ years of experience in a financial or statistical modeling role within an Investment Banking, Private Equity or Corporate Finance environment. • Advanced knowledge of Excel, financial modelling software, and reporting tools. • In-depth knowledge of equity returns, economics, and the factors affecting company performance • Familiarity with executive compensation structures, including stock options, bonuses, and long-term incentives highly desirable. • Ability to communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote, global environment.
