📋 Description

Job location: Remote in India •As a Data Governance Lead, you will oversee the creation of Data Governance policies and practices, the creation and maintenance of a Data Asset Registry, and the implementation of Data Access Control across platforms. •The successful candidate will be well-versed in data governance general concepts, up-to-date with current trends, and aware of tools and technologies that will help achieve our goals. •They will have a good grasp of technology and be able to contribute to technical discussions that will aim to strengthen our data governance practices. •All the while, they will be astute communicators able to navigate a complex organization distributed across multiple countries. •An outgoing team member set up the basic structure for access control across the organization and for our data asset registry. •Working closely with the Head of Data, your role will be to finalize this work and establish clear, robust, and well-defined policies for data governance across our growing enterprise. •This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the company’s data practices at a pivotal point in setting up governance practices.

🎯 Requirements

You might be a strong candidate if you have/are: •A Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering field, Business Administration, or Public Administration. •4+ years of overall experience in a highly technical environment. •2+ years working in a data governance role with increasing ownership. •Strong grasp of Data Governance values and techniques. •Strong knowledge of databases and proficiency in SQL. •Experience with Looker is a plus. •Good English communication skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
