📋 Description

• Serve as the first line of support for internal questions about benefits, payroll, and HR policies. • Coordinate with our Paychex PEO, health insurance providers, and our accountants to ensure employee records, enrollments, and deductions are accurate and on time. • Own the end-to-end onboarding checklist for new hires: systems access, accounts, HR/benefits setup, and initial paperwork. • Coordinate bill pay and accounts payable: collect invoices, route them appropriately, and liaise with external accountants. • Maintain and refine operational processes so they become simpler, clearer, and more repeatable. • Flag problems early and propose next steps.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4+ years of full-time experience in operations, HR/people ops, benefits, payroll coordination, bookkeeping, accounting, or similar • Strong attention to detail and follow-through • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic reporting • Excellent written and verbal communication • Ability to manage multiple small tasks and requests in a fast-moving, startup-style environment without constant supervision • High level of discretion and judgment around what should / shouldn’t be shared, and with whom.
