Description

• We’re looking for a driven Backend Engineer to join our team and help eliminate the financial complexity of healthcare. • This role will support building the core pricing systems that help patients and providers negotiate lower prices in healthcare. • We value creative, outside-the-box thinkers that back their ideas with technical knowledge and action.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience/knowledge. • 5+ years demonstrated experience in backend development, building API endpoints and building scalable backend systems. • Experience designing APIs, and building endpoints and backend systems in Python. • Experience working with different programming languages (Go, Java / Kotlin / Scala / etc). • Experience creating libraries and tools for engineers and operations. • Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases. • Experience with OLAP datastore technologies such as Apache Pinot. • Familiarity with software engineering development lifecycles. • Entrepreneurial mindset: you prioritize tasks with an eye for evolving business needs. You can problem solve independently. • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
