Description

• We're on a journey to empower makers to bring their ideas to life. • We want to make it effortless for innovators and manufacturers to source the right materials. • We're looking for a procurement expert to lead Valdera's efforts in chemical, raw material, and ingredient sourcing. • The role will include studying buyer needs, reaching out to suppliers, executing partnerships, onboarding suppliers, and closing deals.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience working in raw material supply chain management and leading procurement/sourcing activities (Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Logistics) • Expert negotiator with the ability to manage and execute several technical raw material projects simultaneously • Proficiency in chemistry, raw materials, and ingredients • Familiarity with chemical and material purchasing documents (TDS, SDS. RFQ, COA etc.) • Excellent attention to detail and velocity • Ability to understand suppliers' feedstock, technical specifications, and manufacturing processes • Ability to clearly create, document, and communicate material challenges, opportunities, and recommendations across teams
