📋 Description

• As our Benefits & Payroll Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in making sure our team is paid accurately, on time, and supported with the right benefits as we grow. • You’ll own payroll and benefits administration for our distributed team across Canada and the U.S., help us scale systems and policies, and ensure we stay compliant, efficient, and employee-friendly. • Process semi monthly payroll & employee tax forms in Canada and the U.S., ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. • Manage all benefits administration, including health, dental, vision, RRSP and 401(k), leave programs, and more. • Own employee lifecycle payroll changes (onboarding, offboarding, promotions, etc.). • Serve as the go-to contact for employee questions about pay, benefits, and deductions. • Partner with Finance to reconcile payroll reports and support audits. • Ensure compliance with provincial/state and federal payroll and employment regulations. • Support benefits renewals, vendor relationships, and system improvements. • Maintain confidential records and drive process documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in payroll and/or benefits administration. • Experience processing payroll across Canada and the U.S. • Familiarity with tools like Humi, Gusto, Paychex, Rippling, Hibob, is an asset. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment. • Knowledge of employment standards, tax regulations, and benefits compliance. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • PCP/CPM or similar certification is a plus (Canada). • Experience with EOR / PEO * asset but not required. • Experience in Multi-Entity , Multi Currency Environment * Asset but not required.
