Description

• Legal counsel to the Veeam Legal team providing support on a variety of matters • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating end user license agreements, distributor agreements, aggregator agreements, pro-partner/reseller agreements, and other legal documents related to licensing and/or distribution of Veeam’s software to the territory of EMEA • Providing legal advice on GDPR and data protection matters related to licensing or resale and distribution of the software to the territory of EMEA • Develop and deliver trainings for employees and executives on a variety of subjects within counsel’s areas of responsibility • Assist with legal support of efforts to expand business operations internationally

Requirements

• 2-5 years’ experience as an attorney with significant law firm and in-house experience focusing on general commercial contract negotiation and drafting • English is mandatory, and a second language, French or German, would be advantageous • Preference for experience in drafting and negotiating license software contracts • Exercises meticulous attention to detail and an organized approach to quickly identify a problem to be solved, and then solve it • Ability to be creative and flexible but with a focus on business-oriented outcomes • Highly developed written and oral communications skills, with the ability to clearly articulate recommendations and options about complex legal issues • Highly collaborative and able to organize and manage projects with multiple stakeholders • Tactful with strong external negotiation skills
