Description

• Manage and lead a team of software development engineers, set goals, assign tasks, and review performance. • Own and drive the implementation of complex product features. Manage the support and maintenance of systems after release. • Work cooperatively with cross-functional teams of project managers, testers, and customer representatives within a system development life cycle. • Mentor software engineers on software programming and design best practices. Drive programming excellence and discipline, including the production of high-quality and maintainable code. • Constantly improve the development processes, tools and methodologies used by developers. • Promote teamwork and problem resolution. Foster an environment of open discussion, debate, and questioning while always maintaining professionalism and respect for others. • Identify and recommend new technology directions and platforms.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience managing software development teams working on SaaS solutions. • At least 7 years of professional experience as a software development engineer with progressive growth. • Experience working with .Net (C#) or similar frameworks. • Experience hiring, developing and managing engineering talent. • Experience with owning and maintaining high-volume, high-availability production environments. • Capable of deep troubleshooting and discovering root causes of problems. • Experience creating and documenting system design and architecture. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to work effectively within and across departments. • Experience working within a DevOps environment. • Experience collaborating with product managers/owners on initiative planning & solutioning. • Excellent organization skills - ability to work effectively and independently prioritize tasks.
