• Advising global organisations on their employer tax obligations in respect of cross border employees

• Completion of individual tax returns, provisional tax calculations, shadow payrolls and FBT returns
• Providing advice on employer share plan reporting obligations
• Research and application of tax legislation
• Liaising with Inland Revenue as required
• Working with leading digital tools to drive new efficiencies in our processes

Tax Compliance Senior Associate (Global Mobility/Expatriate) - Remote

• Advising global organisations on their employer tax obligations in respect of cross border employees
• Proactively managing client engagements under the guidance and support of experienced senior staff members within our specialist team
• Undertake tax consultations with employees to discuss the NZ tax implications of their assignment or remote working arrangement

• Oversee payroll operations within specific countries in the EMEA region
• Implement and monitor payroll policies and procedures in line with regional and global guidelines
• Manage and process complex payroll activities, such as benefits and retirement deductions, tax reporting, and compliance duties
• Provide guidance and support to payroll managers and their teams in the region
• Handle escalated payroll issues and provide solutions
• Collaborate with the HR department to manage payroll-related issues
• Assist with the development and implementation of payroll procedures and policies
• Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations
• Participate in payroll system implementations and improvements
