• Are you passionate about advancing your career in sales and merchandising in a dynamic, hands-on environment? • We invite you to join our team as a Sales Merchandiser, where you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth for two of the world’s most recognizable brands, WD-40® and WD-40 Specialist®. • In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Home Depot store management teams to implement company-approved merchandising programs and plan-o-grams. • You'll optimize shelf space, secure additional off-shelf display opportunities, and ensure that our family of products truly stand out in the marketplace. • If you're ready to make a meaningful impact and thrive in a fast-paced retail setting, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
• 2+ years of retail merchandising and sales experience, preferably in big box retailers • Strong understanding of plan-o-grams and merchandising strategies, with the ability to cross-merchandise and execute promotional strategies • Ability to build and maintain successful relationships • Familiarity with POS data and inventory management systems to ensure stock levels are adequate and promotional opportunities are maximized • Ability to utilize Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook • Ability to travel 60% daily and overnight 40% • Physical: Ability to frequently move and climb ladders up to 12” tall, work at height and carry boxed product down the ladder, lift up to 40 pounds, push/pull up to 75lbs, bend, stoop, walk for long periods around the store, squat, construct displays, and merchandise small items repetitively and unaided • Drive up to 100 miles per day • Willingness and ability to be exposed to changes in temperature and humidity, including indoor/outdoor working conditions • Current and valid driver's license with no violations.
