β’ Wellness Equity Alliance (WEA) is a novel national public health organization comprised of a multidisciplinary team of population and public health experts. β’ We work nearly exclusively with underrepresented communities, fundamentally addressing health-care disparities and the social determinants of health (SDoH). β’ The fractional COO is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the operational performance and efficiency of WEA's corporate structure. β’ This role encompasses the responsibilities requiring exceptional leadership skills, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of healthcare operations. β’ Provide strategic direction and leadership to regional teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. β’ Responsible for ensuring WEA clinical operations are being stood up, operating and demobilized in an optimal and efficient manner. β’ Provide administrative oversight of all operational budgets working closely with the controller. β’ Represent WEA to external stakeholders regarding operations.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred. β’ Demonstrated experience in operations management, project management, and healthcare leadership, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. β’ Strong understanding of healthcare operations, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement processes. β’ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. β’ Proficiency in data analysis, financial reporting, and project management tools and methodologies. β’ Commitment to the provision of quality healthcare services and the ability to work with diverse populations. β’ Flexible, adaptive, and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. β’ Commitment to mentoring and coaching staff to build internal leadership and promote professional growth. β’ Positive attitude, integrity, and a desire to drive positive change and innovation.
