📋 Description

• Supervising the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP in all locations. • Review and analyses accounting treatment of new transactions, maintain the company accounting policies, chart of accounts. • drive automatisation and optimisation of accounting and financial reporting aiming reducing period end closure. • Overseeing revenue recognition process, collections from merchants, with a focus on optimizing and automating revenue recognition process. • Serving as the primary contact for external auditors during financial audits, facilitating audit processes. • Develop and maintain internal control frameworks for financial operations. • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with financial processes and activities, conducting financial analysis to assess performance. • Leading and developing a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) required. • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, audit or controllership, preferably in a multinational or tech-driven environment. • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and multi-jurisdictional GAAP standards. • Proven experience managing complex audits, revenue recognition, intercompany operations, and tax compliance. • Track record in driving automation initiatives and ERP/reporting system optimization is a plus. • Strong leadership and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally. • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or digital product environments is a plus.
