• Backend Engineer responsible for server-side web application logic, development, maintenance of microservices, and front-end integration • Use of Kotlin and proficiency in OOP concepts, large-scale software architecture, networking, distributed systems, and UNIX/Linux environments • Understanding of design principles for scalable applications • Familiarity with databases and search engines • Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3) • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills • Effective time management and multitasking skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills
• BSc/MSc/Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience • Experience in one or more general-purpose object-oriented programming languages • Proficiency in code versioning tools such as Git • Nice to have: proficiency with Java and Spring Framework, experience with service-oriented architecture, scripting skills, experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes, knowledge of cloud computing service providers, experience with payment processing technologies, experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies, contributions to OpenSource projects
