Description

• Technical design and development of telematics product features using Java/J2EE and Database related technologies • Collaborate with product management teams to translate telematics feature specifications into high-quality, timely deliverables • Develop service and client-side code and database scripts that can support high-volume transactions • Analyze and troubleshoot issues in production and design solutions to fix defects and stabilize new products • Analyze current technology and develop steps to improve and expand upon them • Coordinate root cause analysis and problem management with management stakeholders • Interact with project teams for new product development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a relevant field • 7+ years of experience in development and design with Java, J2EE, and database technologies • Minimum of 4 years of recent experience in Java and J2EE technologies • Experience in J2EE technologies like Spring framework, iBatis/MyBatis or similar ORM framework, REST/SOAP Web Services, Java design patterns, MVC, JMS, and Servlets • Hands-on experience in databases like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) concepts • Production incident and issue management experience with problem-solving and root cause analysis background • Experience working on complex technical projects in a multi-vendor project environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $100,000/yr to $140,000/yr
