Description

• Design, develop, document, and maintain schemas and ETL pipelines • Implement and test collection, mapping, and storage procedures • Develop algorithms for quality assurance and imputation • Profile and optimize automated data processing tasks • Coordinate with data providers for raw data feeds • Deploy and maintain system and database monitoring tools • Collaborate effectively in a distributed work environment • Other related duties including rotating platform support

Requirements

• Academic and/or industry experience in back-end software design and development • Experience with ETL architecture and cloud-based development • Fluency in SQL and understanding of databases • Proficiency with Python, Scala, or other data-oriented languages • Experience in automated data quality validation • Familiarity working with Linux servers in a distributed environment • Strong software-engineering and problem-solving skills • For Senior level: Break down complex projects, recommend new tools, provide mentorship, assist with recruiting
