• Lead the levels game design of our new roguelike shooter game targeting the mobile platform
• Create clear, concise, and visually-oriented design materials and feature specs that explain your vision, requirements and development plan
• Create immersive, challenging and fun gameplay scenarios/environments that support and enhance the core mechanics of the game. Ex level traps, boss patterns, guns mechanics etc.
• Work with game programmers to help create design mechanics that yield compelling gameplay experiences.
• Communicate design progress with the other creative leads and welcome collaborative feedback and iterations.
• Lead the creation of maps, mission structures, encounters and events used across the game levels and worlds
• Document workflows that you created to help others be effective in their use.
• Playtest the game and give candid notes on how we can improve it.

• Create quick thumbnail sketches that establish the theme, design language, and overall composition of the kits
• Take the thumbnail sketches to final, polished line work as well as create color and material blockout to help inspire the 3D modeling and texturing teams

• Work as part of a cross functional development team to ensure that the product being built aligns with the customer's vision and meets the needs of its users.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, other product designers and other roles on the team.
• Conduct user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and test designs to ensure they are effective.
• Iterate on designs based on qualitative and quantitative feedback from users, customers, and the development team.
• Facilitate brainstorming sessions and collaborative design workshops with remote teams.
• Pair with engineers as needed to help with implementation of designs - Apply a systems level thought approach when needed.
• Apply and advocate for modern product design practices including lean UX and user centered design.
