La Fondation Américaine pour la Prévention du Suicide est une organisation à but non lucratif dédiée à sauver des vies et à apporter de l'espoir à ceux touchés par le suicide. Elle fournit des ressources aux personnes en crise, un soutien aux survivants endeuillés par le suicide et plaide pour des politiques de prévention du suicide. La fondation s'engage également dans la recherche, des programmes communautaires et des efforts de collecte de fonds pour promouvoir la sensibilisation à la santé mentale et soutenir diverses initiatives visant à réduire les taux de suicide.

Description

• Increase revenue based on agreed upon goals determined by supervisor and National Development Team. • Recruit, train, and manage fundraising event volunteers and committees. • Travel regularly within assigned service area and to annual Chapter Staff Meeting. • Drive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts by ensuring all fundraising events are inclusive and accessible to diverse communities. • Work with Executive Director and Development Team to ensure significant growth in revenue per fundraising event. • Plan, manage and execute all AFSP signature fundraising events: Out of the Darkness Community Walks, Campus Walks, Construction Hikes for Hope, and other fundraising events within assigned market to meet revenue goals.

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor’s Degree • Proven track record showing substantial growth generating revenue for nonprofit health organizations through P2P fundraising events. • Minimum 4 years professional experience working in non-profit special event fundraising. • Previous volunteer development and management experience overseeing multiple walk/fundraising committees with at least 2-3 committee members each. • Proven track record securing monetary sponsorships. • Must possess technology literacy skills and the ability to leverage social media platforms to enhance marketing. • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
