Description

• Act as the primary point of contact for external Patient Advocacy Organization partners and internal argenx teams • Set and maintain indication-level Patient Advocacy strategy • Communicate Advocacy strategy to internal and external partners • Bring the patient voice into development milestones, including endpoint selection • Partner with cross-functional teams to support patient communities for in-market indications • Develop and implement patient advocacy strategies and engagement plans for disease therapeutic areas • Balance and prioritize pipeline and in-market indications, including gMG and CIDP • Execute national and local patient advocacy engagement strategies • Translate US and market strategies into actionable tactics and events • Build and manage relationships with US Patient Advocacy Organizations • Build understanding of patient needs through patient events, panels, and cross-functional opportunities • Provide local support to the patient services team during patient onboarding • Represent argenx externally at events and conferences • Define and measure business impact at local, regional, and national events • Maintain disease-state, Patient Experience, and product knowledge • Generate and synthesize insights for internal teams • Work cross-functionally to identify patient advocacy needs and opportunities • Serve as a voice for the patient community within argenx and the Advocacy team • Manage compliant events, patient advocacy organization sponsorships, and budgeting • Own Advocacy strategy for assigned indications from development through in-market • Ensure activity alignment and prioritization through frameworks, standardization, and ways of working • Spend meaningful time in covered geographies building relationships with PAOs and attending prioritized patient events

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor’s Degree required • 10 years industry or related experience • Proven capability and success implementing innovative programs within rare disease and with minority and underserved patient communities • Proven track record setting and maintaining adherence to an Advocacy strategy for a given indication or Therapeutic Area • Veeva experience and proficiency required • Experience with rare disease patient interactions and compliance required • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time • Willing to attend events outside of business hours, including weekends and evenings • Passion for understanding and championing the needs of people living with rare diseases, their caregivers, and their community • Strong communication skills, including active listening, fluent and succinct verbal and written expression, and effective presentations • Desire and knowledge to integrate the patient voice into the end-to-end product lifecycle • Advanced Degree preferred
