Description

• Research, design, develop, secure, and deliver solutions facilitating communications with more than 2 million Automox agents globally • Extend, enhance, and evolve event-driven services for new features in the Automox platform and endpoint software • Contribute to continuous improvement through testing, performance tuning, refactoring, usability improvements, and automation • Evaluate technical options, make clear recommendations, and proceed through feedback and iteration • Apply a quality-first mindset and strong testing practices • Make data-driven development decisions before changes reach production • Participate in full service ownership, including understanding cost profiles, failure modes, and operational behavior • Contribute input to the Architecture Review Board as experience grows • Collaborate with engineers, Product Managers, Program Managers, and Technical Support

🎯 Exigences

• 3 - 5 years of experience designing, developing, testing, and monitoring applications deployed in a high availability SaaS environment • Professional experience shipping frontend features in a modern JavaScript framework using TypeScript • Experience building production applications in cloud environments (AWS) with a strong emphasis on security best practices • Familiarity with scaling microservice architectures and large-scale event ingestion platforms • Familiarity with scaling websockets and real-time messaging systems such as Kafka and MQTT • Familiarity with non-relational database systems such as DynamoDB and DevOps • Programming experience in Golang or Java is preferred; polyglots will be considered • Versatility writing and developing software in a variety of languages • Excellent communication and collaboration in a cross-functional remote team environment • Must be able to pass a federal, state, county background check • Must complete a local in-person verification • Must be authorized to work without employer-sponsored visa; Automox is not able to sponsor work visas • Experience building desktop or cross-platform applications is nice to have • Experience with software running on customer endpoints across macOS, Windows, or Linux is nice to have • Experience writing automated end-to-end tests using Python, Playwright, or similar is nice to have
