Description

• Map and prioritise the organisation's critical decisions across product, sales, finance, customer success, and leadership • Proactively surface risks, opportunities, and emerging trends through exploratory analysis, anomaly detection, and cross-domain pattern recognition • Lead the analytics function as a product team by setting vision, owning the roadmap, and establishing the operating model • Design and deliver gold-tier data products with ownership, versioning, documented contracts, SLAs, lifecycle management, and decision-outcome metrics • Architect and own the self-service analytics model with tiered access, governed exploration spaces, and certified Databricks-published datasets • Own semantic layer strategy and ensure consistent, governed, trustworthy KPI definitions • Partner with data engineering on data contracts and gold-layer design within the medallion architecture • Own the Tableau BI platform end-to-end, including certified content standards, performance optimisation, publishing governance, Unity Catalog integration, and access management • Lead adoption of AI-powered analytics, natural-language query interfaces, and LLM-assisted workflows within a governed framework • Drive data literacy and decision-readiness through enablement, documentation, and curated discovery experiences • Establish catalogue presence for analytics assets, including lineage, freshness, and ownership trust signals • Define and enforce analytics engineering standards for dashboard design, naming, version control, testing, and peer review • Measure analytics product impact using adoption metrics, stakeholder feedback, decision cycle time, and platform usage data • Mentor and develop analysts, building technical depth, product thinking, decision-framing skills, and ownership

🎯 Exigences

• 3+ years in business intelligence, analytics, or decision science, with at least 2 years leading a BI or analytics function in a senior capacity • Ability to work backwards from business decisions to scoped analytics products with defined users, data requirements, and success metrics • Track record of proactive insight discovery and translating risks, opportunities, or behavioural patterns into action • Expert-level proficiency in at least one enterprise BI platform such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent, including complex calculations, performance optimisation, governed content management, and platform administration • Strong SQL skills for writing, optimising, and reviewing complex queries against large datasets in Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or equivalent • Experience delivering BI outputs as data products with ownership, documented contracts, versioning, SLAs, and lifecycle management • Proven experience designing and scaling self-service analytics, including tiered access, governed exploration, certified datasets, and enablement • Deep expertise in semantic layer design and metrics governance • Strong understanding of lakehouse and medallion architecture and data contracts between engineering and analytics • Experience within a governed data platform, including cataloguing, lineage, certified asset management, and trust signals • Excellent stakeholder management and communication across data engineering through C-suite audiences • Track record of building and leading high-performing analytics teams through hiring, mentoring, standards, and product thinking • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of SaaS metrics • Desirable: hands-on Databricks, Tableau, dbt, decision intelligence/science, AI-powered BI, LLMs or generative AI, SaaS metrics, data quality/observability tooling, Python, and agile product delivery
