Description

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of the agent-to-human handoff experience • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to front-end engineers • Oversee the full front-end development lifecycle from concept through deployment and maintenance • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, clinical stakeholders, and engineers to prioritize work and deliver features on schedule • Define React and Next.js architecture, including component boundaries, caching, and read-your-writes behavior • Establish self-hosting standards for Next.js containers on AKS • Define BFF patterns and integrations with .NET, Python/FastAPI, Entra ID, and OpenID Connect • Partner on design tokens and Material-based component-library themes • Own npm supply-chain controls and dependency scanning • Conduct code reviews and ensure coding, accessibility, and security standards • Lead framework and library upgrades • Architect SSE streaming interfaces for agent narratives, tool calls, citations, and generative UI • Define AG-UI event contracts, shared state, frontend tools, and human-in-the-loop approval interrupts • Design approval, modification, override, rationale, and audit-trail workflows • Establish handling for slow, interrupted, or failed agent calls • Lead delivery of data-heavy grids, document viewers, rich-text editors, and workflow wizards • Ensure WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and Section 508 conformance • Instrument the frontend with OpenTelemetry • Use and evaluate approved AI-assisted tools across development, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and analysis • Contribute reusable prompts, agents, playbooks, and AI-assisted development patterns • Follow AI, IP, security, privacy, PHI, and Responsible AI policies • Handle patient data safely under HIPAA and participate in peer review and validation processes

🎯 Exigences

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 4+ years building production web applications with React and TypeScript • 2+ years of experience leading teams of 3+ software engineers • Deep hands-on experience with Next.js, including Server and Client Components, server-side rendering, streaming, and caching • Experience building AI or agent-driven user interfaces or equivalent streaming, real-time interfaces using Server-Sent Events or WebSockets • Experience designing and delivering data-heavy enterprise screens using component libraries such as KendoReact or MUI • Experience with the backend-for-frontend pattern and integrating .NET (C#) and Python (FastAPI) services • Experience implementing authentication with Entra ID (Azure AD) and OpenID Connect • Expertise delivering applications meeting WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and Section 508 • Experience with Vitest or Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS preferred), GitHub Actions, and OpenTelemetry • Experience applying npm supply-chain security practices, including SBOMs, lockfile policy, and dependency scanning • Strong daily use of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot • Excellent leadership and communication skills • Experience in Agile methodologies and globally distributed teams • Strong problem-solving skills • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience • High-speed internet over 10 Mbps at home • Government-issued photo ID, comprehensive background check, in-person I-9 verification, and possible drug screening prior to employment • Final interviews may require onsite attendance • AI tools are prohibited and monitored during interviews
