Description

• Architect and evolve systems powering Fetch’s data products • Build and maintain data pipelines, governed data access, delivery infrastructure, and partner-facing integrations • Identify ambiguous, high-impact technical problems and drive solutions • Own technical problems and define projects addressing systemic issues • Set and raise technical quality and reliability standards • Initiate refactoring and system health improvements • Lead multi-system initiatives, migrations, and phased rollouts across teams • Improve team velocity and reduce operational overhead through tools, processes, and platform capabilities • Shape team technical direction, goals, trade-offs, and strategy • Collaborate with Product, TPM, and partner engineering teams • Clarify trade-offs and decision ownership across stakeholders • Coach peers and junior engineers and provide constructive upward feedback

🎯 Exigences

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with increasing technical scope and ownership • Strong platform or backend engineering background building reliable, scalable systems • Experience with data pipelines, integrations, or delivery infrastructure is a plus • Ability to independently identify and scope ambiguous technical problems and execute solutions • Experience owning systems or components used by multiple teams or consumers • Track record of improving code quality, system health, or engineering practices • Experience contributing to or leading cross-team technical initiatives, migrations, or phased rollouts • Solid understanding of data infrastructure fundamentals: pipelines, governed data access, and delivery at scale • Strong code review judgment regarding rollout safety, monitoring, and operational risk • Mentorship experience with peer or junior engineers • Fluency in modern software ecosystems such as Kubernetes, event streaming, CI/CD, observability tooling, and AI-assisted development workflows • Ability to communicate technical trade-offs clearly and build stakeholder alignment without formal authority • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, evolving environments with measurable outcomes • Preferred: experience with data delivery, connectors, clean rooms, DSP integrations, or partner-facing data infrastructure • Preferred: familiarity with data governance and compliance-aware system design • Preferred: experience modernizing legacy systems or migrating to newer architectures • Preferred: exposure to AdTech, MarTech, or data-monetization ecosystems • Preferred: experience improving reliability, latency, or developer velocity on data- or integration-heavy platforms • Preferred: experience giving upward feedback or informally mentoring across levels
