Description

• Lead technical design and delivery of scalable, maintainable application components across the TM1 Maps platform • Shape Maps application architecture for reliability, simplicity, observability, and long-term maintainability • Partner with Product Managers, UX, and engineering teams to translate product goals into technical plans • Build and improve micro-frontends and backend services using React, TypeScript, Java, and Spring Boot • Develop and operate services on AWS and Kubernetes • Design and support shared services, APIs, and integrations for internal and external teams • Promote automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, performance tuning, and recovery automation • Mentor engineers through technical guidance, design feedback, and practical coaching • Build cross-team alignment and resolve technical roadblocks • Troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability and performance of real-time, end-to-end systems • Participate in the team's on-call support rotation • Own the full lifecycle of services, including architecture, delivery, testing, reliability, and production support • Work as an individual contributor in a DevOps and Agile team responsible for end-to-end delivery

🎯 Exigences

• Strong professional experience building and operating production software systems • Strong Java development skills, including Spring Boot • Strong frontend development experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript • Experience with NodeJS and Express • Experience designing shared services, APIs, and distributed applications • Experience with microservices or event-driven architecture • Experience applying software design patterns, SOLID principles, and maintainable engineering practices • Experience improving, modernizing, and supporting legacy systems • Experience with production reliability, monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and performance improvement • Experience with CI/CD and delivery tooling such as Maven, GitLab CI, or similar • Working knowledge of database technologies such as DynamoDB, Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB • Experience working in Agile and DevOps-oriented teams with responsibility for delivery and production support • Ability to influence technical direction across teams without direct people-management authority • Preferred: working knowledge of Elasticsearch • Preferred: working knowledge of Kafka • Preferred: experience building or operating services on AWS • Preferred: experience deploying or supporting applications on Kubernetes • Preferred: experience supporting teams integrating with shared platforms or services • Autonomous, proactive, and comfortable leading technical work with minimal supervision • Clear communication with engineers, product partners, UX, and remote teammates • Comfortable mentoring engineers and raising technical standards • Pragmatic approach to modernization • Comfortable working in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams • Ability to participate in on-call support rotation
