• Provide advanced technical support for internal GovCon systems and designated external customers • Act as an escalation resource for complex systems, network, security, and compliance-related issues • Design, build, maintain, and support networks, VLANs, firewall rules, routing, Windows Server environments, virtual machines, storage, RAID configurations, and host platforms • Administer and troubleshoot Hyper-V and/or VMware environments, Microsoft Azure resources, advanced applications, servers, and network services • Perform VM and storage migrations across hosts and platforms • Implement and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including VMs, VNets, gateways, and virtual firewalls • Support and maintain CMMC-scoped environments, including network segmentation, VLAN design, identity and access controls, and secure administrative access models • Maintain ongoing CMMC Level 2 compliance across GovCon systems • Collaborate with compliance, security, and leadership teams on remediation plans and assessment gaps • Create, maintain, and validate CMMC technical evidence, including system configurations, security settings, architectural and network diagrams, and control implementation artifacts • Review system changes, deployments, and upgrades for CMMC impact before implementation • Participate in incident response involving CUI or GovCon systems, including investigation, containment, and documentation • Support external GovCon customers with compliant infrastructure, security configurations, CMMC-aligned best practices, and escalation support • Improve GovCon-specific standards, baselines, and runbooks to maintain audit readiness • Stay current on evolving CMMC and NIST guidance and apply changes as required
• 3–7 years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, or advanced technical support • NinjaOne RMM administration experience • Windows Server deployment and administration experience • Network infrastructure implementation and administration, including routers, firewalls, switches, and LAN/WAN • VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization experience • Microsoft Azure infrastructure implementation experience • Strong documentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to work independently with strong client service skills • Proven organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities • Accurate tracking of work performed, time, and related documentation • Professional written and oral communication in English • Ability to write business correspondence and process procedures • Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the general public • U.S. citizenship required • Must be a U.S. person; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable • Dedicated, secure, distraction-free remote workspace • Bonus: CMMC RP or CCP • Bonus: subject matter expertise in Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, Cisco, or similar technologies • Certifications listed include MCSE, Network+, Microsoft Azure Administrator AZ-104, VCP, CCNA, and ITIL Foundation
