Description

• Direct all revenue cycle functions for MSO clients, including charge capture, coding, claim submission, payment posting, denials management, and accounts receivable follow-up • Develop and monitor KPIs including days in A/R, clean claim rate, denial rate, net collection rate, and first-pass resolution; report results to leadership and clients • Identify revenue leakage and implement process improvements to increase collections and reduce write-offs • Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports covering charges, collections, adjustments, denials, A/R aging, and payor mix • Report on practice financial outcomes, including revenue trends, provider productivity, and performance against budgets and benchmarks • Analyze variances and opportunities and present findings and recommendations to clients and Oasis Health leadership • Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and consistent across clients • Lead, mentor, and develop a large distributed team of coders and billing staff • Oversee coding quality through audits, education, and feedback for compliance with CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and payor-specific guidelines • Set productivity and accuracy standards, manage workloads, and build training programs • Review and interpret payor contracts and fee schedules; identify underpayments and reimbursement opportunities • Support or oversee provider enrollment and credentialing • Serve as escalation point for payor disputes, appeals, and reimbursement issues • Act as senior point of contact for client practices through video and phone meetings; review results, recommendations, and resolve concerns • Support client onboarding and transitions, including workflow design and system setup • Use EMR and practice management systems, particularly athenahealth and eClinicalWorks, to optimize workflows, reporting, and billing configuration • Manage concurrent client implementations, system conversions, and process improvement initiatives from planning through delivery • Ensure adherence to HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations, including secure handling of PHI in a remote environment, and support internal and external audits

🎯 Exigences

• 10+ years of progressive experience in medical coding and billing, with extensive hands-on knowledge of the full revenue cycle • Deep knowledge of payor contracts, reimbursement methodologies, and denial and appeals processes • Working knowledge of provider credentialing and payer enrollment • Experience with EMR and practice management systems • Experience preparing and presenting practice financial reports and analyzing financial performance • Demonstrated leadership of large coding or billing teams, ideally in a remote setting • Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • High level of professionalism and ability to work directly with clients and executives • Self-motivated, with a secure home workspace and reliable high-speed internet • Prior experience in an MSO, billing company, or multi-practice environment preferred • Experience with athenahealth and eClinicalWorks (eCW) preferred • CPC, CCS, CRCR, or similar certification preferred • Experience with value-based care or multi-specialty practices preferred • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, business, or a related field preferred • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship • Must currently reside in the United States
