• Develop and execute engagement strategies for the assigned region • Research, identify, evaluate, recruit, and manage Hematology/Oncology Key Opinion Leaders in academic and community settings • Initiate contact with potential KOLs and pitch partnership opportunities • Build authentic KOL relationships through regular communication and engagement • Tailor collaboration strategies to KOL needs, interests, and audience demographics • Provide KOLs with information, demo samples, and materials for content evaluation or creation • Collaborate with Sales to strengthen HCP relationships with PharmaEssentia • Lead insight gathering through one-on-one engagements, small-group meetings, advisory boards, and steering committees • Monitor competitive landscape, treatment protocols, and market trends; report findings and recommendations to Marketing • Support and manage commercial advisory boards and steering committees • Develop targeted peer-to-peer marketing materials and messaging aligned with brand objectives • Review peer-to-peer content for brand-guideline and messaging alignment • Provide input for Speaker Bureau development and training • Lead KOL engagement at key congress meetings • Manage KOLs for internal meetings and external events • Track campaign KPIs including reach, engagement, conversions, and brand mentions • Monitor campaign progress, optimize results, analyze data, and prepare stakeholder reports
• BS/BA or equivalent required, preferably in Marketing, Science, Business Administration, or a similar field • MBA or other advanced degree preferred • Minimum 8+ years of pharmaceutical sales and/or marketing experience • Hematology/Oncology experience required • Strong scientific and business acumen • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building KOL relationships • Analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance and identify trends • Creative thinking to develop peer-to-peer collaboration concepts • Knowledge of industry trends and target audience demographics • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to lead through influence across teams • Self-starter who takes initiative in a fast-paced, multi-demand environment • Strong strategic and tactical planning, project management, communication, and organizational skills • Understanding of the compliance environment in pharmaceutical promotions • Flexibility to travel 50–70% of the time, including occasional evenings and weekends • Candidate must live near a major airport
