Description

• Own the short- and long-term technical vision for test automation and quality architecture across cloud and mobile systems • Design, build, and scale resilient, reusable testing frameworks • Make major technical decisions on test strategy in partnership with the Quality Manager • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines • Mentor senior and early-career engineers through code reviews, best practices, and delegated work • Compile and analyze quality metrics, including flake risk, execution performance, and release gates • Communicate quality outcomes to engineering leadership • Share technical knowledge through design reviews, tech talks, and documentation • Shape framework design and drive an AI-first automation approach

🎯 Exigences

• 7+ years in senior engineering roles focused on automation testing and framework building, or comparable software development experience • Individual-contributor role-model capability and ability to guide technical decisions while contributing hands-on • Advanced proficiency in general-purpose programming • Expert command of Playwright with TypeScript and Maestro with YAML • Deep understanding of black-box and white-box testing • Experience with API testing, integration testing, and system-level validation across web and mobile • Experience with an AI-first approach to automation and architecture • Familiarity with Jira, XRay, Confluence, Claude, and GitHub • Strong communication and technical writing skills • Ability to work across engineering, product, and quality-management stakeholders • Ability to deliver outcome metrics to leadership • Azure DevOps experience preferred
