La Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library est une nouvelle bibliothèque présidentielle et une destination pour les visiteurs à Medora, Dakota du Nord, dédiée à la vie, à l'héritage et au travail de conservation du Président Theodore Roosevelt. L'institution combine des espaces d'exposition, des ressources archivistiques rassemblées auprès de nombreux partenaires, des programmes éducatifs, des événements publics, un programme de membres, une boutique, et des expériences numériques — incluant un guide et une archive alimentés par intelligence artificielle appelés « Campfire » permettant aux visiteurs d'interagir avec les lettres, discours, et photographies de Roosevelt. Le projet met l'accent sur une architecture sensible au site et la durabilité dans le paysage des Badlands et fonctionne comme une attraction culturelle dirigée par une fondation qui accueille des programmes virtuels et sur site pour les visiteurs, étudiants et chercheurs.

Description

• Build a national community of supporters around the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library • Identify and cultivate prospective supporters across the United States • Develop trusted donor relationships and uncover philanthropic interests • Develop compelling philanthropic proposals and secure transformational gifts • Build donor portfolios from the ground up and create pipelines of transformational gifts • Conduct donor visits and close gifts of five figures and above • Maintain accurate and timely donor interaction records in CRM systems • Work with the Chief Development Officer to align major gift efforts with fundraising strategy • Collaborate with development, communications, and programming colleagues on donor materials and engagement opportunities • Participate in campaign planning and special projects • Provide donor recognition and report on gift impact • Track progress toward goals and contribute to departmental reporting and forecasting • Represent the organization at events and donor meetings as an ambassador for its mission

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus • 5+ years of professional fundraising experience • At least 3 years of major gifts or principal gifts experience • Proven success securing five- and six-figure gifts • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills • Self-motivated with strong organizational and relationship management abilities • Familiarity with DonorPerfect or other CRM/database systems, such as Raiser’s Edge or Salesforce • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Ability to travel to/between Medora and donor events, as needed • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends in support of organizational events • 50% travel required
