• Provide oversight and support for a group of skilled nursing facilities in relation to business office processes • Consulting and guiding assigned Business Office Managers • Monitoring billing and collection efforts • Auditing and training Business Office employees on policies and procedures • Communicating and escalating risk items to leadership • Participating in continuous improvement efforts • Ensuring timely and accurate billing and payments are received by designated timelines • Monitoring for compliance of Internal Controls
• Minimum of five years of experience managing a skilled nursing facility business office • Prior experience managing multiple skilled nursing facility business offices at once highly preferred • Extensive experience in billing and collections including Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance, Private Pay, and Medicaid Pending within long term care required • Prior accounts receivable experience required • Must possess knowledge of Multistate Medicaid Pending, Recertification, and Authorizations • Experience with Managed Care billing and processes required • Knowledge of Resident Trust Fund processes required • Previous experience training and educating all levels of staff in person and remotely • Working knowledge of Point Click Care required • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities • Must be able to work well with others in a team environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required • Professional image in both appearance and behavior • Excellent written and oral communication skills
