Journey Alerts est un service conçu pour rendre le voyage plus facile et accessible à tous en fournissant des alertes et des instructions en temps réel directement sur votre téléphone. Le service ne nécessite pas le téléchargement d'applications, ni ne s'engage dans le suivi des données, se concentrant plutôt sur la fourniture d'informations précises et opportunes sur les options de transport public, y compris les trains, bus, trams, et plus encore. Journey Alerts propose également un soutien supplémentaire tel que des bons pour les perturbations et travaille sur des dispositifs compagnons pour ceux qui n'utilisent pas de smartphones. Le service vise à démocratiser le transport public en le rendant plus convivial et sans stress.

Description

• Working closely with the tech director and senior developers to help extend and customise our OpenTripPlanner (OTP) based multi-modal routing platform • Liaising with our product team to identify and specify existing and future functionality for the core routing platform, and liaise with the OTP community to align development with the wider project roadmap • Developing unit and integration tests to and help create complex systems to help validate and improve data and routing quality • Contributing to the clear documentation of new processes and improvements to existing documentation

🎯 Exigences

• Prior experience of working with OpenTripPlanner (OTP) or a similar open/closed-source multi-modal routing engine • Familiarity with data standards such as GTFS, SIRI, NeTEx, TransXchange etc • Solid knowledge of Java (Scala experience also useful) • Experience with source control (Git preferred), continuous integration, and unit/integration testing and issue management software (Jira ideally) • Bash scripting and basic *nix deployment and configuration experience • Experience with ETL / Stream processing (desirable) • Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL or DynamoDB) (desirable) • Commercial experience with Amazon Web Services (Lambda, API Gateway, Kinesis, DynamoDB, S3, EC2, ECS etc) (desirable) • Familiarity with RESTful API design concepts (desirable)
