📋 Description

• Serve as the advocate for accessibility and a resource for colleagues developing accessible products • Provide outreach and training for project managers, web designers, developers, and content providers • Perform 508 testing and remediation for web, software, mobile, and electronic documents • Develop or contribute solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity • Work independently with some guidance; review or guide activities of more junior employees • Manage test data architecture definition and requests • Coordinate with teams for product acceptance including product security, performance testing, vulnerability testing, reliability, and fault tolerance testing • Identify and communicate risks and opportunities for improvement across all products and test frameworks • Perform initial debugging on test failures and read through code • Interact with 508 vendors and assistive technology ticket workflows • Obtain and maintain required security/IRS MBI clearance

🎯 Requirements

• NEED IRS MBI Clearance • Bachelor's degree (or Master's degree as alternative) • 4-5 years work experience • 2+ years of experience with 508 testing • Experience with 508 testing using JAWS, Dragon, CCA, ZoomText, or Keyboard • Experience with WCAG 2.0 A/AA standards • 508 testing of Information Communications Technology and 508 troubleshooting and coding • Experience with 508 vendors on existing platform or assistive technology tickets • Experience working with teams for product acceptance including security, performance, vulnerability, reliability, and fault tolerance testing • Experience managing test data architecture definition and requests • Ability to perform initial debugging on test failures and read through code • Ability to identify and communicate risks and opportunities for improvement across products and test frameworks • Ability to obtain a security clearance • Experience with 508 remediation of web, software, mobile, and electronic documents technology • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools • Experience with 508 testing process and tools • Experience with 508 analysis • Experience leading and coordinating tasks • Ability to interact with third party vendors • Certifications may be accepted in lieu of a degree • Years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree for certain roles
