📋 Description
• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle databases • Handle database creation, migration, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions • Implement and manage strong security protocols (encryption, authentication, compliance) • Monitor and tune performance to ensure high availability and reliability • Automate routine tasks with shell scripting and tools like Crontab • Support applications, troubleshoot database issues, and participate in on-call rotations • Work closely with Oracle support and internal teams to resolve issues quickly
🎯 Requirements
• 7+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) • Strong skills in PL/SQL, performance tuning, security, data modeling, and automation • Basic understanding of Linux, storage, and networking • Experience with ICCE and eServices is a plus
