📋 Description

• Work independently with teams on projects/platforms to set up platforms and environments using the listed Azure technology stack (Terraform, VNets, Firewalls, Application Gateway, API Management, Container Apps, Functions, Web Apps, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Storage, Key Vaults, VMs, Azure SQL, VPN, Monitor, Policies, Entra, etc.). • Engage in the development process and collaborate with globally-based development teams. • Design and articulate Azure infrastructure architectures and security configurations to clients and stakeholders. • Support and coordinate with data teams for Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Fabric and PowerBI as needed. • Implement and maintain DevOps/CI-CD practices and pipelines (Azure DevOps involvement is split responsibility). • Mentor engineers and provide thought leadership across the organization. • Troubleshoot networking, security, and platform issues; enforce Azure Policies and best practices. • Deliver reliable, scalable cloud platform environments and participate in architecture and delivery decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field. • A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience/expertise working as a Cloud Azure Engineer with robust understanding of Azure. • High level of English proficiency required to interact with a globally-based development team. • Communicate in a clear and understandable manner with clients, and be able to articulate the details of the designed architecture using the appropriate level of technical language. • Natural leader with critical reasoning and good decision making skills. • Extremely good knowledge on Azure N/W, Terraform, Firewall. • Ability to work on multiple parallel projects and utilize time management skills and multitasking capabilities. • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices and tools. • Demonstrate mentorship and thought leadership to engineers and decision-makers throughout the organization. • Demonstrated innovative thinking within teams for problem-solving. • Experience with technologies: Terraform; Azure Private DNS Zones & Private DNS Resolver; VNet/Subnets & NSG/ASG & Route Tables; Azure Firewall; Application Gateway; API Management Services; Container Apps, Functions & Web Apps; Service Bus, Event Hubs & Event Grids; Storage Accounts (Blob, Table, Queue, Data Lake) & Key Vaults; VMs (Windows & Linux); Azure SQL DBs & Managed SQL; Azure VPN; Azure Monitor (Log Analytics & AppInsights); Azure Policies; Entra (Users & Groups, Enterprise Applications & App Registrations, Entra Cloud Sync, Conditional Access); familiarity with Azure DevOps (lower priority); supporting data technologies: Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Fabric & PowerBI.
