📋 Description

• Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings, and more complex drawings. • Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and other customer documentation if service is requested by the engineer or project manager. • Perform quality control redline checks before having plan sets roll up to Project Managers. • Work with AutoCAD functions including sheet set manager, tool palettes, AutoCAD annotations, Civil 3D annotations, tables, and scales. • Develop design models including points, alignments, profiles, cross sections, corridors, surfaces, and pipe networks. • May assign/manage efforts in the CAD/Civil 3D department. • Train staff on the most current technologies being utilized in the industry.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience using CAD for airfield design projects. • Ability to work proficiently with AutoCAD and Civil 3D (Civil Engineering design and documentation software) is required. • Ability to communicate thoughts and concepts with team members. • Strong knowledge with CAD set up using surveyor data. • Possess knowledge of coordinate systems, cartographic layout and design techniques. • Basic understanding of Civil engineering and design practices. • Ability to prepare various support graphics for reports and meetings. • Computer skills: AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Map, and Microsoft Office. • Experience with AutoCAD Map is preferred.
