📋 Description

• Manage multiple external technical projects from inception to completion • Follow established processes, project templates, and methodologies • Lead Professional Services stand-ups and meetings • Collaborate on project planning, design, deliverables, timelines, and contingency planning • Convert SOW requirements into realistic, executable project plans • Manage project resources, budgets, scope, time entries, and quality assurance • Coordinate with engineers on project goals, strategy, execution, proposals, and scope documentation • Assist with initial incident triage and access establishment for project kick-off • Assign and align project resources based on requirements, capacity, and skill sets • Track engineer progress and identify roadblocks • Monitor and summarize project progress for company leadership, finance, clients, and IR partners • Conduct client status meetings and manage expectations • Lead PowerPoint presentations and project reports for large projects • Participate in the incident response on-call rotation • Escalate issues to higher-level resources when necessary • Resolve billing disputes, overruns, and customer service issues • Conduct post-mortems and improve internal processes • Help project teams resolve technical and business roadblocks • Challenge requirements to deliver the right solution at the right price and time • Apply knowledge of systems configuration, management, maintenance, virtualization, backup and disaster recovery, access solutions, diagnostics, and security enhancements • Maintain billable utilization and mandatory daily reports • Meet project deadlines and maintain profitability and quality • Measure project success using cost and schedule variance formulas • Record change details, time entries, and work notes in ServiceNow in real time • Identify process improvement opportunities • Execute deliverables through configuration, testing, implementation, refinement, documentation, monitoring, and transition • Follow change management processes for approved client-environment changes • Communicate project status, follow-ups, and feedback internally and externally as directed

🎯 Requirements

• Knowledge qualifying you to master technical project delivery and systems engineering required to recover, deploy, and enhance infrastructures • Ideally a four-year degree in a relevant field • Working towards or already obtained PMP certification • Experience managing projects as the assigned Project Manager, not only delivering them as an engineer • Experience owning client-facing projects and establishing consultative client rapport • At least 5 years of experience delivering IT waterfall projects involving systems and virtualization, with exposure to enterprise infrastructures • Strong organizational system for maintaining tasks and quality • Superb writing skills and highly refined verbal communication skills • Ability to communicate effectively with C-Suite audiences and engineers • Adaptable working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required • Willingness to travel to client sites when needed • Dedicated, private home office space • Private internet connection with at least 50MBPS bandwidth • Public WiFi and shared common spaces do not meet work requirements
