📋 Description

• Manage technical relationships and serve as primary point of contact for 10 strategically designated design firm headquarters accounts • Build and maintain partnerships with key decision-makers, technical leads and engineers • Develop and execute account growth strategies to expand ABB's footprint within assigned firms • Own and manage budget targets for ABB project designs and monitor account performance against revenue goals • Ensure consistent technical messaging and account approach across regional boundaries • Support Field Application Engineers with escalations and complex customer challenges • Provide technical consultation and engineering guidance during project design and specification phases • Support proposal development, design reviews and technical presentations • Respond to complex technical inquiries and coordinate solutions across ABB business units • Lead and mentor Field Application Engineers across multiple US locations • Align with the sales EPC team on coordinated account development strategies • Collaborate across ABB internal teams and business units to deliver integrated solutions that drive customer value and revenue growth

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. degree in engineering, preferably electrical • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the electrical distribution industry • Proficiency applying MV/LV switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, transformers and arc flash mitigation technologies • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to consider multiple viewpoints and resolve technical issues • Problem-solving and new customer development capability • Self-starter, accountable for results and able to work without detailed direction • Capability to establish and nurture partnership relationships with the regional engineering consulting community • Already possess authorization to work for ABB in the US • Preferred: previous field, plant or design engineering in electrical power systems at major oil and gas companies, electric utilities or industrial facilities • Knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NEC, NEMA, NFPA 70E and UL industry codes and standards
