📋 Description

• Lead Abbott’s Heart Failure division across the UK & Ireland • Own sales revenue, profitability and market growth across HF teams and product areas • Understand product-area market dynamics and identify market-share growth opportunities • Develop strategic objectives and operating plans to grow sales and profit • Develop and execute market-growth activities and improve market access for Abbott HF technologies • Build and lead a high-performance organization, including distributor management • Hire, train, coach and develop team members • Communicate sales vision, strategy and objectives • Provide market information, forecasts, business reports and information flows to senior management • Engage external decision influencers, including KOLs, reference centers, procurement, and trust/hospital management • Collaborate with Market Access and HE&R to develop local execution plans • Support strategic and operating-plan processes and develop organizational design and sales plans • Plan sales tactics for accounts and participate in customer sales visits while coaching the field team • Manage budgets and take timely action against forecasts and targets

🎯 Requirements

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience • Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally within devices industry • Prior experience on pathway/therapy development • Demonstrated experience of controlling a budget • Results orientation • Problem solver • Decisive decision maker • Willingness/ability to travel 75% of the time • Ability to drive a personal auto or company car or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment
