đź“‹ Description

• Partner with NHS and private laboratories across the UK • Deliver training and coaching on Abbott diagnostic systems • Support new instrument installations and assay implementations • Investigate and resolve application and assay-related issues within customer laboratories • Build relationships with Biomedical Scientists, Laboratory Managers, and Pathologists • Provide expert technical and clinical support to customers • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements • Travel extensively throughout the UK to support customer sites • Spend approximately 75% of time visiting customer sites, including frequent overnight stays and regular weeks away from home

🎯 Requirements

• BSc in Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, Medical Technology, or a related scientific discipline • Experience working within a clinical diagnostic laboratory • Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and diagnostic testing • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Passion for training, coaching, and supporting healthcare professionals • Full UK driving licence • Ability and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays • HCPC registration (ideal experience) • Experience in Clinical Chemistry, Immunoassay, Haematology, Blood Sciences, Molecular Diagnostics, or Pathology • Senior Biomedical Scientist or Specialist Biomedical Scientist background • Experience with laboratory analysers and diagnostic instrumentation • Customer-facing or training experience
