📋 Description

• Work on a wide range of defined benefit pensions projects for DB pensions clients and bulk annuity providers • Conduct benefit calculation audits • Perform data validation, audits, and data improvement or creation projects • Support benefits and data due diligence • Carry out benefit correction and rectification exercises • Create benefit calculation proformas for administration teams • Test calculations against automated results and use pensions knowledge to identify or improve calculation errors • Create or review benefit summary specifications • Document issues and results clearly by email and phone • Liaise with internal contacts across the wider pensions business • Draft consulting reports as required • Work directly with actuaries and consultants within the team and wider actuarial department • Liaise with administration teams to resolve issues pragmatically and accurately • Provide an audit trail for all work activities • Support team workflow management to achieve client delivery • Take responsibility for learning and development and stay current with pensions regulatory developments

🎯 Requirements

• Currently working in a pensions actuarial team, or DB pensions experience with DB pensions calculations experience while seeking an actuarial career • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and macros • Ideally, experience working on pensions projects • Experience using PFaroe actuarial software preferable • Good team player with an excellent attitude and flexible approach to work
