📋 Description

• Support the educational and behavioral goals of all students, with a focus on students with an Individualized Education Program • Work cooperatively with classroom teachers by interpreting student abilities and disabilities, assisting with classroom intervention strategies, modifying general education curricula, and assisting with regular class assignments • Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction • Facilitate IEP meetings and write IEP goals and objectives • Work toward student achievement, culture, and state-specific achievement goals • Use research-based best practices in daily planning and instruction • Integrate culturally responsive teaching practices into daily lessons and interactions with students, parents, and colleagues • Serve as case manager for a designated set of students • Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding students’ academic and social-emotional growth • Take on cross-team assignments and projects • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Open to residents of Ohio • Current Ohio Intervention Specialist License (preferred) • Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards • Comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment based on frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring • High-quality written and verbal communication skills • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google products • Excellent organization and time management skills • Ability to work independently and contribute to a team • Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks (FBI/BCI) • Experience working in a multi-cultural setting (preferred)
