• Assist in monitoring, detecting, and analyzing potential threats, vulnerabilities, and security incidents. • Learn and apply industry compliance and governance standards (PCI-DSS, SOC2, GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.). • Understand and research current and emerging threats, attack vectors (ransomware, zero-day exploits, etc.). • Support implementation of zero trust security principles and cloud security best practices. • Participate in incident triage, log analysis, and escalation processes. • Work with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Operations, Support) to ensure security best practices are followed.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Linux-based systems. • Basic understanding of security frameworks (MITRE, CIS, OWASP, NIST, STIGs). • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and cloud VM/network provisioning. • Exposure to tools such as Falco, Trivy, KubeArmor, or similar security products (preferred). • Basic scripting or automation knowledge (bash, Python, or similar). • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (cybersecurity certifications a plus).
