📋 Description

• Grow the overall customer base by prospecting for new customers, especially independent hardware retailers and Pro Dealer retailers • Increase total sales volume within a defined geographic territory after retailers are activated • Generate profitable sales through weekly warehouse orders, convention sales opportunities, dropship programs, and promotional programs • Analyze retailers and develop customer strategies based on customer needs and Emery Jensen objectives • Execute strategic initiatives and focus objectives for the field sales organization • Manage customer relationships and serve as liaison between customers and Emery Jensen • Attend industry-related trade shows and events as necessary • Develop strategic sales plans to deliver annual sales and profit objectives • Represent Emery Jensen professionally and ethically • Develop and foster relationships with key decision makers • Organize and prioritize weekly customer sales routes and calls • Communicate successes and challenges to the Emery Jensen Leadership Team • Coordinate with Sales Support, the Care Center, and internal business partners to resolve customer issues and questions • Collaborate with team members to share ideas and sales successes • Exercise sound judgment regarding travel, entertainment, car, and other expenses

🎯 Requirements

• Personally motivated, self-starter, and results-oriented • Customer-focused solution development • 5+ years of business-to-business sales experience preferred • Hardware sales experience is a plus • Excellent listening and negotiating skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong strategic thinking with emphasis on developing and implementing sales growth plans • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and opportunities • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Extensive travel required, including overnight travel • Valid driver’s license required • BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred
