📋 Description
• Lead the technical designs and digital delivery of civil engineering projects • Prepare and review survey specifications, including utilities and topographical surveys • Check and coordinate studies, assessments, and conceptual designs for development schemes covering drainage, highways, utilities, earthworks, and flood risk • Liaise with regulatory bodies and key stakeholders to secure approvals and ensure compliance • Contribute to bids and proposals • Attend project meetings and communicate technical solutions • Support multidisciplinary infrastructure projects from early scoping and feasibility through planning, detailed design, and construction • Support AECOM design teams across the UK and Ireland on infrastructure projects • Provide civil engineering design support to structural engineering colleagues across multiple sectors
🎯 Requirements
• Civil Engineering degree (BEng) and/or Master’s degree (MEng) • Relevant experience, ideally within a consultancy environment, delivering highways and drainage design for residential, commercial, and wider infrastructure schemes • Proficiency in InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, and AutoCAD Civil 3D • Experience working with developer clients and contractors • Proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects • Familiarity with ArcGIS welcomed but not essential • Interest in integrated AI solutions • Progress toward Incorporated or Chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), or membership of CIWEM or CIHT is preferred
