📋 Description

• Oversee Federal environmental investigation and remediation projects • Manages and directs professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects • Manage RI/FS, Remedial Design, Five Year Reviews and other remedial activities • Regular client interaction on technical, cost, and schedule topics • Familiar with project invoicing, cash flow management, and budget tracking • Project scheduling and resource management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery • Analyze and interpret data; compare findings to local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance • Perform work with minimal direction and periodically report to area manager • Oversee preparation of work plans and organize project studies • Supervise junior and mid-level staff during all phases of project work • Prepare proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders • Lead teams executing Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessment, and Treatability Studies • Occasional overnight travel as required

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • U.S. Citizenship required • Experience with CERCLA projects and federal facilities • Experience managing RI/FS, Remedial Design, Five Year Reviews • 5+ years of experience directly as a project manager (preferred) • Experience as a client facing professional with seller-doer ambitions (preferred) • Professional License (PE, PG) in New England states (preferred) • 8+ years’ experience in environmental remediation (soil, water, sediment, PFAS, munitions) project management (preferred) • Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or related degree (preferred) • Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations (preferred) • Experience successfully managing environmental projects for Federal clients (USACE, Air Force, Navy, EPA) (preferred) • Thorough working knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA processes (preferred) • Experience in team management and scheduling of staff and resources • Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders • Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management • Project scheduling experience and expertise • Analyzes financial statements and completes budget tracking • Superior communication, writing, editing, and reporting skills • Interest in business development • Have led teams executing Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessment, and Treatability Studies • Occasional overnight travel required
