📋 Description

• Interface with client and DWM PMO program staff regarding project planning and goal setting, and expectation management • Collaborate with other GIS team members regarding product design and delivery requirements for the client • Monitor GIS database and system performance, address possible issues and ensure the continuous delivery of high quality information to the client • Manage existing GIS delivery workflows and pursue opportunities for continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, or another related field and 4+ years of relevant experience with GIS development (ArcGIS Pro, SQL, etc.) or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • 5+ years or more of experience as a GIS Analyst, or similar position with professional level experience in design, development, implementation, and administration of a GIS enterprise environment • Experience developing web and mobile applications in ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS • Experience creating automated data management processes or modifying web applications using Python, HTML, Javascript, or other applicable languages • Demonstrated experience with designing, working in, and updating Esri enterprise database environments • Previous experience working with versioned datasets is strongly preferred • Strong SQL server capabilities including building and understanding queries, developing and managing views, and understanding stored procedures/jobs • Strong understanding of GIS system architecture and workflows • Experience in manipulating data, including merging similar data from separate sources, which may have different data models, and enterprise reporting to include creation of advanced queries for ad hoc reports used in conjunction with enterprise software developed applications • Experience in providing quality control with regard to discipline specific in-house data capture (data conversion), the evaluation of data acquired from outside of the organization and database construction • Proficient in the use of Esri’s ArcGIS desktop applications for data analysis and creating presentation-quality maps • Proven ability to interface and work effectively with client organizations • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
