📋 Description

• Provides critical oversight and coordination of environmental processes to ensure timely delivery of project clearances. • Supports the development, review, and quality control of CEQA/NEPA documents, while guiding teams and consultants to maintain compliance with regulatory standards. • Involves coordinating with technical disciplines, agencies, and stakeholders to align environmental deliverables with project schedules. • Essential to keeping environmental approvals on track and aligned with broader project goals.

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. • 10 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in environmental planning, environmental sciences, or a closely related field. • Graduate degree in environmental planning, environmental science, or a closely related field is a plus. • Knowledge of federal (NEPA) and state (CEQA) environmental law and processes as well as other relevant state and federal laws and regulations. • Working understanding of fundamental project management concepts (e.g., scope, schedule, budget). • Ability to analyze and review documents for consistency, clarity, and content and be able to present complex technical information in an easily understandable format and context. • Experience with highspeed intercity passenger rail, transit planning, or linear infrastructure projects.
