📋 Description

• Process supplier invoices and respond to supplier queries • Administer employee expenses and company card transactions • Prepare supplier payment runs for Finance Manager review and approval • Maintain accurate supplier records and supporting documentation • Prepare and issue sales invoices • Support accounts receivable administration and credit control activity • Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with customer payment queries • Support timesheet, work-in-progress (WIP) and billing administration • Complete regular bank reconciliations • Support routine balance sheet reconciliations • Maintain accurate records in Xero and Kantata, including system housekeeping and data-integrity checks • Prepare month-end schedules and supporting information • Assist with general finance administration and ad-hoc tasks • Work closely with the wider Finance team and colleagues across the business

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role • Practical experience across accounts payable and accounts receivable processes • Experience in a professional services/consultancy environment • Experience completing bank and routine balance sheet reconciliations • Experience supporting month-end finance activities • Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage recurring deadlines • Confidence communicating with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders • Good Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems • Experience using Xero (ideal) • Experience using Kantata or a similar professional services/project management system (ideal) • Ability to work 25 hours per week, ideally across five shorter working days
