📋 Description

• Manage a designated dairy loan portfolio consisting of commercial and mortgage loans • Analyze new loan applications and loan servicing requests using financial statements and credit information • Develop credit packages and loan servicing actions • Assist the Relationship Manager in gathering information and contacting customers for follow-up questions • Request appraisals, field reports, third-party verifications, credit reports, and lien searches • Complete loan analyses, including financial statements, cash flows, trend sheets, narratives, creditworthiness opinions, risks, and mitigants • Formulate projections using historical financial data, current budgets, and other information • Enter financial information and data into financial analysis, loan origination, and loan processing systems • Make approval recommendations based on Loan Underwriting Standards and regulatory requirements • Independently make approval recommendations on non-complex credits • Participate in loan committee meetings as required • Monitor the assigned portfolio for servicing needs and compliance with loan terms • Determine and review legal documentation • Coordinate with credit and approval departments, attorneys, and title companies on loan closings • Assist with special projects and work groups requiring underwriting expertise • Perform other assigned duties • Work under the general supervision of the Director of Underwriting or designee • Serve as a secondary point of contact for customers

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS degree with emphasis on agribusiness, business administration, or equivalent • 7+ years of progressively responsible banking or related agricultural lending experience • Dairy industry experience • Demonstrated analytical and statistical skills to evaluate loan requests and assess creditworthiness • Understanding of agricultural lending principles and practices • Knowledge of association and Farm Credit System operating policies and procedures • Knowledge of Participation and Syndication credits • Knowledge of FCA regulations, association, and district policies and procedures • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills • Proficiency with PC, word-processing, email, and electronic spreadsheet software • Ability to perform basic office tasks and work in a typical office setting • Ability to sit and work at a desk and computer for extended periods • Ability to talk, hear, sit, use hands and fingers, and reach in all directions • Ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds • Availability to work established business hours and occasional weekends and/or evenings • Some travel required • Eligibility to work in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer unavailable
