• Our client, an innovative, client-focused boutique HEOR consulting firm is growing! • We’re looking for a Data Analyst & Programmer to join their team. • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics and proficiency in statistical programming using SAS and/or R. • In this role, you will utilize real-world data to conduct a range of health care economic, clinical effectiveness, and burden of illness analyses to support pharmaceutical products throughout their life cycles across a range of disease areas. • This opportunity is for you if you’re looking for an environment where you can play a big role in study design and analytics, and where you will have the opportunity to analyze and explore different types and structures of data. • In this role, you will be responsible for the design and analysis of studies that inform healthcare decision-making and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for their clients. • Additionally, this role is for you if you’re excited about opportunities to build new data platforms.
• Master’s or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in biostatistics within the HEOR or pharmaceutical industry, or a relevant industry. • Proficiency in statistical programming languages including SAS and R; experience with other programming tools (e.g., Python, Stata) is a plus. • Strong understanding of statistical methodologies and their applications in health economics and outcomes research. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively. • Strong communication skills, entrepreneurial spirited and an openness to out of the box creative problem solving. • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) databases and claims databases is preferred.
