📋 Description
• Develop and refine machine learning models for pricing recommendations, particularly reinforcement learning models • Plan and prioritize projects so team efforts align with Airbnb’s strategic goals • Collaborate with data scientists and product managers to understand requirements and desired outcomes • Develop, test, and refine machine learning models • Analyze model performance and make necessary adjustments • Present findings and progress updates to team members and stakeholders • Work with product engineers and designers to integrate models into user-friendly tools for hosts
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering • Proven experience developing and implementing machine learning models, preferably reinforcement learning models • Strong knowledge of Python or other relevant programming languages • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex ideas clearly • Must be authorized to work in the specified location • Occasional travel may be required • Experience in the hospitality industry or with pricing models would be a plus • Experience with Airbnb’s platform and tools would be beneficial
